The Naturally Good Vibes farm is small scale, uses sustainable practices and is currently in Langley B.C. While the farm itself is constantly evolving, the goals stay the same. Be as zero waste as possible, support the health of the earth, and grow some amazing food! The 2 acres is home to a small apiary and mixed vegetables, while leaving space for pollinators to flourish with ground left undisturbed. All seeds are chosen with the safety of pollinators in mind and are pesticide, herbicide, and GMO free.
I may be biased, but I think the farm is pretty awesome. Part of what makes the farm so special is that it's part of a parcel of land with many farmers on it. Throughout the season we all join together for group projects to make the land better, and are always willing to lend a tool or give an hour of time. I feel incredibly grateful to be farming on this land.

THE TEAM
While Kristen is the only one who is obsessed with bees, it takes all three of these beings to run the farm! Matt brings his skills as an engineer to the farm by constantly fixing things, fine tuning the irrigation, and seeing the bigger picture.
Kristen manages the nitty gritty parts of the farm. From starting seeds to harvesting, Kristen does it all. They are also incredibly passionate about pollinators (bees bee-ing number one!) and love any opportunity to talk your ear off about how we can all save them.
Last but certainly not least, Charlie is there to boost moral! When he's not digging holes in the yard for people to fall in, he's reminding us to enjoy the beauty of the farm and encourages us to rest...as he leads by example sun bathing in the grass for hours.
The land in which I grow, live, and play on is located on the Traditional territories of the Thewsane, Tsawwassen, Stolo, Kwantlen, and Coast Salish People. Part of my commitment to reconciliation is caring for the land from a place of mindfulness and with the intention of living in harmony with nature. I am dedicated to continuously learning from the original stewards of this land. I try my best to listen with an open heart, learn, and unlearn.
