Kristen Penhall

With a tendency towards boredom (thanks ADHD!) Kristen has found that beekeeping and farming keep them interested like nothing else. Bees and farming will slowly break you down in to knowing you know nothing… and from there you are open to learn everything. Kristen enjoys spending most of her time outside, and when she’s not farming you can find her climbing, swimming in the ocean, playing with Charlie, or napping. 

Matt Amyotte

Despite what this goofy photo might suggest, Matt is a serious help to the running of the farm. Being an engineer in the day time, he becomes a farm superhero at night…and on some sweet summer weekends. From maintaining the automatic irrigation systems to helping till the fields and being an assistant beekeeper we are all very grateful to have Matt at the farm.

Charlie Penhall-Amyotte

Would it be a farm without a farm dog? Born on the streets of Taiwan, he found his way to Canada through Kristen’s tattoo artist bringing him home on their trip back to Canada. He was rescued through the organization Second Chance In Life. He enjoys spending his time digging holes in the ground for Kristen or Matt to trip in, hiding treats for later, and pointing at random things on the farm. A scaredy cat at heart, he is teaching everyone around him what it means to be brave, and keeps morale at an all time high with his obsessive cuddles.
