ADAPTIVE YOGA FOR EVERY BODY
Restorative Floor Yoga May 5- June 9 Every Wednesday 1-2 PM PST (6 Weeks) This class will take place fully on the floor! As we all are making our way through this pandemic, find peace in longer postures that help stretch and heal the body. This series will include postures that use both the upper body as well as the lower body in longer holds. Movement into the postures will be slow and intentional. The benefit of doing this is it helps calm the nervous system and gives the muscles a chance to fully release for optimum health. Let’s take a break and stretch it out together!
Chair Yoga May 6- June 10 Every Thursday 5 PM PST (6 Weeks) This whole class will take place in a chair. While there will be options for the lower body, the focus of the postures will be from the waist up. This class will benefit the nervous system- which let’s be honest, who doesn’t need that right now? There will also be some strengthening of the arms, but this class will mainly be releasing muscles around the spine, shoulders and arms, while having elements of balance and core work. There will be modifications offered for you to decide what works best for your body at this time. Come find some balance, strength, and mostly stretch!

Looking for a different kind of yoga? I offer a variety of classes throughout the year, to be in the loop about them sign up for my newsletter below! I send a newsletter every season, so you'll only hear from me four times a year!
About My Practice My practice can look like me sweating up a storm, and other times like me laying on the ground with my eyes covered committing to complete stillness. I have studied different forms of yoga such as Ashtanga, Nidra, and Restorative. My path has been to explore, be a life long learner, and to practice in a way that supports my life in the present moment. I take this mindset to my mat when I teach, and encourage my students to see what feels right in their body. Most classes of mine will typically include a warm up, a physical practice, and some meditation. Classes that are meditation specific will often still include a warm up to better allow the body and mind to settle. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
